Why They Should All be Trauma-Invested Spaces

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Why should I care about trauma?
Great question!
You can't learn if you don't feel safe as we all learned from Abraham Maslow. Understanding how trauma could be affecting your students will allow you to make them feel safer, which in turn, will allow them to have far greater access to the education you are offering to them.
I will explain the impact of trauma on the brain, how it can manifest in your schools, why you should commit to crating trauma-informed spaces, and strategies and resources to help you become more trauma-invested.
The best part is that trauma-invested practices help every student!
