18+months of zooming has zapped our learners and lessons in many ways. 
News outlets, school board meetings, and grocery aisle conversations are calling for a ‘return to normalcy' and a step back from screens. 
Completely spent from the nearly two years of round-the-clock triage teaching, we find ourselves -- teachers, administrators, coaches, parents, and caregivers -- exhausted and extinguished, our passion and purpose charred crumbles.
Unwilling to torch our students’ tomorrows, how do we capture the fire and become torchbearers instead?
We’ll examine how intention serves as the match and kindling to set learning afire. Using the acronym FIRE, we’ll explore the critical characteristics necessary to cultivate the highest levels of return on instruction.  You’ll leave with a fire-starter kit, including research, resources, and ready-made exemplars.
